ABOUT Rick
In 2023, Rick partnered with Commonwealth Land Title Company, joining Co-President Ron Howarth.
Rick began his title insurance career in 1983 starting out as a Sales Executive in the coastal community of Huntington Beach, where he grew up attending Edison High School. Rick went on to attend UCLA, where he was the starting quarterback for 3 seasons from 1977 to 1979. He attributes his work ethic and team-oriented attitude directly to his UCLA experience. Rick has carried the same attitude with him throughout his career. Rick cultivated relationships in the community, and he established himself as a leader in the sales field. After years of hard work, Rick took on the role of Sales Manager, helping other sales executives build and increase market share throughout Orange County.
In 2001, Rick took on the challenge of Regional Manager for Ticor Title, where he developed the territories of Southern California, Nevada, and Arizona. Rick attributes the success of Ticor directly to his exceptional staff. In 2004, Rick took on the role of county manager for Ticor Title Orange County and developed both residential service teams in California and a national commercial services team.
